Easy, Step-by-Step Installation: 

1. Place the ladder on a flat surface with standoffs facing up, lay the sliding pipe assembly in the center of the square rungs, and pull the loop at the ladder. 
2. Position the two pipe clamps over the 2" pipe, centered on the first and third rungs. 
3. Fit the four "U" bolts over the square rungs and through the pipe clamps. 
4. Tighten all "U" bolt nuts to 10–15 ft. lbs. of torque. 
5. Double-check that the extension assembly is secure before use.
