BA-BSVLB-S' innovative fusible link automatically activates a spring-powered cover for immediate ventilation, and you can count on this model's compression springs to automatically open against wind or loads as high as 10 psf. Automated Ventilation: BA-BSVLB-S features a positive releasing latch, activated by a rigorously tested UL-listed fusible link, which melts at temperatures over 165°F. Once the fuse melts, you can count on BA-BSVLB-S' covers to release, expelling flames, fumes, and toxic gases.

Weatherproofed Construction: BA-BSVLB-S has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal while leaving the elements out of your spaces. BA-BSVLB-S has 1" thick PIR insulation within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance (R-6) and reduced energy consumption.    

Polycarbonate Panels for Natural Lighting: BA-BSVLB-S boasts multiwall white polycarbonate for the added benefit of natural light to brighten up your spaces. The polycarbonate inserts are non-flammable.  

Note: Standard inserts are translucent with alternate options found below. 

EZ Tab for Easy Mounting: BA-BSVLB-S is a single-wall curb hatch with a mounting flange with EZ tabs that make installations quicker and hassle-free.

This model comes standard with clear 5/8” structural multiwall polycarbonate panel inserts, however; BA-BSVLB-S offers alternatives such as;

Domed polycarbonate alternatives are also available, in two options;

BA-BSVLB-S is on the cutting edge of innovation with a melting fusible link. Best Access Doors is proud to offer a range of melting points to suit your needs. The alternatives to the standard 165°F link melt at:

• 450°F  

BA-BSVLB-S is either manually or electronically opened for regular venting. This model opens for manual venting with zinc-plated rotary latches, standard on all models. For electronically opening venting, you will have the options of:  

• 24VDC/24VAC system  
• 110VAC/240VAC system
