Efficient Rooftop Entry: BA-E-50-HZ grants easy one-handed access to rooftops with an easy latching system and powerful compression springs. And with automatic locking arms, easy access is ensured, every time.
UL 790 Compliant: BA-E-50HZ fortifies your structures with tamper-resistant heavy-gauge steel and a Class A UL 790 rating providing the highest level of fire resistance for rooftops.
Easier Installations: With a 3-½" mounting flange, an overlapping cover design, and 7/8" predrilled holes, BA-E-50HZ easily and securely fastens to roof decks with a straightforward, streamlined process.
Weatherproofed Construction: BA-E-50HZ has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal, leaving the elements out of your spaces. BA-E-50HZ's construction leaves it highly resistant to corrosion from elemental exposure, including heavy rain.
Structural Reinforcement: BA-E-50HZ provides live-load support of up to 40 pounds per square foot of load-bearing support to your rooftops.
Optimized Energy Efficiency: BA-E-50HZ has 1" thick fiberboard insulation within its curb, reinforced by 1" thick fiberglass within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance and reduced energy consumption.

- Cover: Brake-formed hollow-metal design with 1" concealed fiberglass insulation, 3" beaded, overlapping flange, fully welded at the corners, internally reinforced for 40 psf live load
- Curb: 12" in height with integral cap-flashing, 1" fiberboard insulation, fully welded at corners, 3-½" mounting flange with 7/16" holes
- Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover
- Hinges: Heavy-duty pintle hinges with 3/8" Type 316 hinge pins
- Latch: Enclosed two-point spring latch or interior and exterior turn handle with padlock hasps
