- Springs: Heavy-duty torsion coil springs
- Dampeners: Hydraulic dampeners to control cover opening speed and prevent over-travel
- Latches: Open automatically when the 165-degree fusible link melts and separates. Include interior and exterior pull handles for manual operation.
- Operation: Covers spring open to approximately 90 degrees during fire events and automatically lock in the fully opened position.
