18" x 18" BA-KSTDW Sesame Drywall Ceiling Hatch - Best Access Doors
Ceiling access hatches often create two headaches. They either look unsightly in an otherwise smooth ceiling or are frustrating to use when accessing pipes, wires, or other overhead systems. Most building owners and contractors have simply accepted these annoyances as unavoidable.
The 18" x 18" BA-KSTDW Sesame Drywall Ceiling Hatch keeps things simple and clean. It sits completely flush with the drywall ceiling, so it doesn't disrupt the room's look. When you need to access wires and other overhead systems, it opens safely to a check position and then to a full 90°.
The door can also be completely removed to maximize workspace. It's sturdy, secure, and designed to make access easy without sacrificing appearance.
Why Should You Use the 18" x 18" BA-KSTDW?
Complete Concealment: Made specifically for drywall ceilings, the BA-KSTDW blends seamlessly with surrounding surfaces, so you barely notice it's there. This design helps a room keep its clean, smooth look.
Enhanced Safety Features: The door stops at a safety position before opening fully to 90°, preventing accidents and giving you controlled access every time.
Removable Door Panel: When you need unrestricted access to the ceiling space, you can remove the door, which is perfect for working with larger equipment.
Durable Construction: Made from strong 20-gauge galvanized steel, this hatch withstands years of use without wearing out.
Secure Access Control: The square-head key wrench-operated locks with plastic grommets limit access to authorized personnel while maintaining the hatch's clean appearance.
