Built with welded high-grade aluminum inner and outer frame profiles, it accepts a ½" (12.5 mm) or 5/8” (15.9 mm) recessed cement board inlay designed to be finished flush with surrounding exterior walls.
Featuring an extruded pressure gasket seal and key-operated cylinder lock, the BA-IVHWD delivers tested watertight performance and air tightness against outdoor exposure.
Certified Weather & Driving Rain Resistance: Engineered with an extruded pressure gasket and perimeter seal to achieve watertight classification up to Class 5A under EN 12208 and testing to EN 1027.
Flush Finish: The recessed cement board inlay creates a near-flush appearance that helps maintain a clean, uninterrupted facade.
Flexible Installation: Designed for installation on block or brick walls using anchoring brackets or wall plugs, providing flexibility for a range of exterior wall assemblies.

What to Know About Rough Opening and Installation Requirements
Required Rough Opening
The BA-IVHWD required wall opening is the ordered door size plus 5 mm.
Confirm the opening, facade buildup, and flashing details before installation, to ensure the weatherproof seal performs as intended.
Installation Notes
Prepare Wall Opening: Form rough opening equal to Ordered Panel Dimension +5 mm (+0.20").
Position & Anchor Frame: Insert 60 mm outer aluminum frame into a solid masonry or exterior facade substrate. Secure using perimeter anchor brackets or dowel fasteners through pre-drilled frame holes.
Verify Gasket Compression: Ensure the perimeter pressure gasket rests evenly against the wall opening to form an airtight and watertight seal.
Attach Safety Carabiners: Connect safety retaining cables between the outer frame and the removable door panel to prevent accidental dropping during access.
Finish Inlay & Facade: Apply exterior stucco, paint, or facade coating across the cement board inlay, maintaining the 1/16” (1.59 mm) perimeter joint reveal.
