What Makes The 22” x 30” BA-FRU Amazing:
Strong Fire-Resistance: The 16 gauge cold rolled steel frame, and 20 gauge galvanneal steel door allows the BA-FRU to have a rating of 3-hour fire resistance in non-combustible construction like masonry. You can also install this around combustible material for a 1-hour fire resistance rating.
Unparalleled Protection: Another trick up the BA-FRU sleeve is the inclusion of 2"" mineral wool insulation making it perfect for fire-rated ceiling applications. You can rest assured that the BA-FRU protects your gas lines, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning by helping contain fires in a specific area for some time.
Ergonomic Locking System: This access door also features an upward-opening door with a hex head slam latch outside, ensuring the door stays closed when not in use. If you need to pass through the BA-FRU, you won't have to worry about locking yourself in, as this access door has a ring-operated slam latch inside.
LEED V4 Compliance: BA-FRU is LEED V4 compliant and will contribute directly to your project's ability to achieve LEED certification.
