Rooftop access installations often become headaches for building owners and contractors. Most roof hatches require specialized tools, multiple workers, and extensive labor to secure the materials properly.
This drives up project costs and creates potential leak points. When you add the challenge of providing safe stair access for maintenance crews carrying equipment, standard hatches simply don't cut it.
The 30" x 96" BA-RHDG-SA Steel Diamond Roof Hatch fixes this. It uses patented Diamond Grip® technology to secure roof materials without tools, cutting installation time and labor costs.
The large opening gives plenty of room for people and equipment, while R-6 insulation helps reduce energy costs. This hatch is built from heavy-duty galvannealed steel and lasts for decades with little maintenance.

Why Should You Use the 30" x 96" BA-RHDG-SA?
Innovative Diamond Grip® Installation: The patented Diamond Grip® technology secures the roofing membrane without any tools, eliminating the risk of punctures and reducing installation time. The system provides reliable attachment and better weather sealing with a simplified single-wall design.
Roomy Stair Access Opening: Its opening gives maintenance crews plenty of space to move safely with their tools and equipment. No more cramped conditions that cause accidents—teams can get through easily with everything they need.
Energy-Efficient R-6 Insulation: The built-in curb and cover insulation delivers R-6 thermal resistance to cut energy costs. It prevents heat loss and keeps interior temperatures steady, which is great for climate-controlled buildings.
Heavy-Duty Galvannealed Steel Construction: It's made from 14-gauge galvannealed steel tested to handle 40 PSF loads. The welded construction stays strong, and the galvannealed coating fights rust for decades of reliability.
Weather-Resistant Performance: The slam latch handles 50 PSF wind pressure, while rubber gaskets seal out weather. Meanwhile, its compression springs and hold-open arms make it work smoothly in any conditions with one-handed operation.
