BA-PFN-GYP-8-8 access doors are uninsulated and can be installed on walls, specifically those made of drywall. Its door panel is designed to be the only thing visible once a sufficient layer of drywall compound is applied to its corner bead flange, for a much better-finished look. 

In compliance with UL standards, this access door will be self-closing and self-locking once the installation is complete and the provided springs are installed. It is not advisable to use this access panel in situations where protection against temperature elevation is required. Our largest fire-rated PFN-GYP door available is (36” x 36”).
