Fire-Rated Access Doors

You must always be vigilant against fires, which is why you should equip your construction projects with the best passive fire protection systems. Please take a look at our two new fire-rated access panels:

• BA-FD2D - Ceilings are challenging spots to install large fire-rated access doors since they're likely to interfere with your other objects inside the building. Thankfully, the BA-FD2D fixes this by featuring a double-leaf door and a removable center mullion in addition to its two-hour fire rating.

• BA-FDU2RFS - If you're looking for a simple surface-mounted access door with a 2-hour fire rating, then the BA-FDU2RFS is what you need. With its automatic panel closer, this access panel is ready to protect your wall-hidden utilities all the time. It also comes with an interior latch release to open the panel from the inside.

Universal Access Doors

Sometimes you're looking for access doors that you can use for various applications and wall materials. We have three new Universal Access Doors for you to enjoy.

• BA-SP - The BA-SP is one of your go-to options for heavy-duty applications like detention and security facilities. You can rely on its robust 10ga steel construction with detention deadlock, and two heavy-duty detention hinges welded directly to the frame. We also have various lock options for this access door, so you can choose which will work best for you.

• BA-HSP - When it comes to security, sometimes you're looking for the best, and that's what you get with the BA-HSP. The 7ga steel construction and the non-removable hinges ensure that this access door is what you need for high-security applications. Depending on your requirements, several lock options are also available, so check out the BA-HSP data sheet for more information.

• BA-TD-5025 - Marbled or tiled surfaces can be challenging locations to install access doors. The BA-TD-5025 answers this challenge by recessing the door so you can install your tile or marble covering to give you a seamless look with the rest of your surface.

Specialty Access Doors

While access doors do fit in various situations, sometimes you need a niche product to fill a niche role. For this situation, you can use our brand-new specialty access door. 

• BA-TBC - You may have to install a T-bar ceiling grid for your next indoor project. For this application, you can use the BA-TBC access door. The main benefit of this access panel is that it can be dropped directly into the ceiling grid, allowing you to use it instantly. 

HVAC Access Doors

We have the perfect access doors for your HVAC needs that fit your projects aesthetically and functionally.

• BA-IG-C - The BA-IG-C is the perfect fire-rated, flush-mounted cold air return cover for your HVAC ducts. This access door's triple fiber reinforced cement board ensures its resistance to impact, moisture, and mold build-up. We have two sizes available for the BA-IG-C: the BA-IG-C14 and BA-IG-C30, so you can apply this access door to various situations.

• BA-IG-MAG - Like the BA-IG-C, the BA-IG-MAG comes with the same triple fiber reinforced cement board with all its benefits from the BA-IG-C. The unique magnetic removable grille door separates this access door, providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance and easy access. We have three readily available sizes: BA-IG-MAG1,BA-IG-MAG3, and BA-IG-MAG4.

• BA-CD-5080-HP - For a high-pressure duct, you want to be sure it's undergone thorough testing, so you know what you're getting. The BA-CD-5080-HP can withstand up to 8" water gauge with leakage no greater than 2 CFM per sq. ft. or less. It also features 5/8" notched knock-over tabs on the inside of the frame, allowing you to install this on your ducts without any special tools.

• BA-CDSS-6030 - The BA-CDSS-6030 is your prime choice for sheet metal HVAC ducts. This access door features a self-stick frame allowing you to install it quickly to your ducts. In addition, you can rely on the neoprene gasket attached between the door and its frame to endure up to 10" SP with minimal leakage.

Exterior Access Doors

These access doors must withstand the harshest weather conditions in all seasons. We have just the access door for you:

• BA-XTA - If protecting your utilities from the elements is a top priority, the BA-XTA has you covered, as it comes with an R-value of 13. This rating is thanks to its durable aluminum construction with 2" Thick Polyisocyanurate Insulation and adhesive-backed EPDM foam and silicone rubber seals in the frame and door. 

Roof Hatches

To access your roof-mounted utilities like HVAC Condensers, you'll want to have the safest route to your roof. When you install roof hatches, you won't have to rely on cage ladders installed on the side of your buildings.

• BA-RHADD - You may be looking for an access door to your roof that provides light to the upper floors of your building; you should install the BA-RHADD. Its double-skin construction, 1" fiberglass insulation, and continuous EPDM gasket ensure this access door will keep the perfect indoor temperature.

• BA-RAH - For the best ease of access experience, the BA-RAH is simply hard to beat. You can use the zinc-plated telescopic tube to operate this access door smoothly. It also comes with an automatic hold-open arm with a vinyl grip making it easier to move large items or tools onto the roof deck.

• BA-SVA - To keep your building safe from smoke and gas build-up in a fire, you should install a smoke vent on your roof like the BA-SVA. The gas spring operators and a 165° UL Listed Fusible Link or resettable McCabe link allow you to rely on this access door to automatically open when you need it the most in a fire.
